As Babies get Older…. needs Less Sleep

This was a difficult time for me when I had my babies, “sleep time”. As babies gets older, they will sleep less. So, I believe this is a good time to train most babies to sleep on their own. Because we as new mother’s or pros, we tend to cuddle, loving and reach out at every weep. Most times we go to the baby to comfort them, they are not wet or hungry and lay in our arms, falling right back to sleep. You know why? They miss the cuddling, loving and rocking to sleep, especially at night. Tip: Once your baby begins to sleep less, find opportunities for tummy time, play time longer, read to them and find ways of keeping them a wake. Develop a sleeping pattern that includes naptime. At nighttime, have less stimulus activities as baby sleep, soothing music or quietness in sleeping area is great atmosphere. “Of course, comfort your baby if hungry or wet, lay them back down if drowsy, they will learn to fall back to sleep”. If a sick baby, they need more nurturing. We all are aware that all babies are not the same. So, that’s where we as moms develop a plan as structure as possible. This will help you out to0, mom and dads. Consistency and routines make MIRACLES!
