Bonding with your Baby

New moms and moms again, bonding with your new bundle of joy is a natural for most moms. Motherhood is awesome and rewarding that is why we all have the immediate way of showing our love for our babies. We hold them next to our bodies, rock them, smile, sing and talk to them, “it’s a natural for most of us.”' Did you know that your baby senses who is caring for them? Bonding comes in many other ways, breastfeeding, bottle feeding, bathing, dressing, and touching during feeding. Sometimes, bonding can be challenging, especially, if it is your first child. You make become over tired therefore here are a few helpful tips: Take the time to understand the needs of your baby and yourself. Develop a plan to bond with your baby, it is essential. Develop a plan for yourself to have a few hours of free time (call on support, don’t be afraid to ask for help).

Remember the baby is here to stay and needs you. It is essential for you to stay healthy physically and mentally.
